A Visit to the Doctor / Una visita al médico
Today, I went to the doctor for a routine check-up. I felt a bit nervous because I didn't know what to expect. The doctor’s office was bright and clean. I sat in the waiting room and looked around. There were some magazines and a fish tank. I took a deep breath and tried to relax. I thought about my health and how I wanted to feel better.
Hoy fui al médico para un chequeo de rutina. Me sentía un poco nervioso porque no sabía qué esperar. La consulta del médico era brillante y limpia. Me senté en la sala de espera y miré alrededor. Había algunas revistas y un acuario. Respiré hondo e intenté relajarme. Pensé en mi salud y en cómo quería sentirme mejor.
When the nurse called my name, I walked into the examination room. She asked me some questions about my health. I told her I had been feeling a little tired lately. She took my blood pressure and weighed me. Then, she said the doctor would come soon. I waited and thought about what the doctor would say.
Cuando la enfermera llamó mi nombre, entré en el cuarto de examen. Ella me hizo algunas preguntas sobre mi salud. Le dije que me había sentido un poco cansado últimamente. Ella tomó mi presión arterial y me pesó. Luego, dijo que el médico vendría pronto. Esperé y pensé en lo que el médico diría.
