El monedero perdido / The Lost Wallet
Juan salió de casa un día soleado. Caminó hacia el parque para encontrar a sus amigos. Se sentía feliz y emocionado. Llevaba su nuevo monedero en el bolsillo. El monedero tenía fotos y dinero. Juan pensó que todo iba bien.
One sunny day, Juan left home. He walked to the park to meet his friends. He felt happy and excited. He had his new wallet in his pocket. The wallet had photos and money. Juan thought everything was fine.
Cuando llegó al parque, se sentó en una banca. Habló y rió con sus amigos. Después de un rato, decidió comprar un helado. Cuando buscó su monedero, no estaba en su bolsillo. Juan se asustó mucho. Miró bajo la banca y en su mochila, pero no lo encontró.
When he arrived at the park, he sat on a bench. He talked and laughed with his friends. After a while, he decided to buy an ice cream. When he looked for his wallet, it wasn’t in his pocket. Juan got very scared. He looked under the bench and in his backpack, but he didn’t find it.
