Una Visita Inesperada / An Unexpected Visit
Hoy, Juan está en casa. Es un día soleado. De repente, escucha un timbre. Es su viejo amigo, Pedro. Juan no ha visto a Pedro en diez años. Está muy emocionado. Abre la puerta y dice, '¡Hola, Pedro! ¿Cómo has estado?' Pedro sonríe y responde, '¡Hola, Juan! He tenido una vida ocupada, pero estoy feliz de verte otra vez.' Juan invita a Pedro a entrar y se sientan en el sofá.
Today, Juan is at home. It is a sunny day. Suddenly, he hears a doorbell. It is his old friend, Pedro. Juan hasn’t seen Pedro in ten years. He is very excited. He opens the door and says, 'Hello, Pedro! How have you been?' Pedro smiles and replies, 'Hello, Juan! I have had a busy life, but I am happy to see you again.' Juan invites Pedro in, and they sit on the sofa.
Pedro dice, 'Recuerdo nuestros días en la escuela. Siempre jugábamos al fútbol.' Juan ríe y dice, 'Sí, éramos muy buenos. ¿Qué has hecho desde entonces?' Pedro habla sobre su trabajo y su familia. Juan le cuenta sobre su nuevo trabajo y su perro. Ambos están felices de compartir sus historias.
Pedro says, 'I remember our days in school. We always played soccer.' Juan laughs and says, 'Yes, we were very good. What have you been doing since then?' Pedro talks about his job and his family. Juan tells him about his new job and his dog. They are both happy to share their stories.
